CC’s Total Traffic Network Reaches 500,000 Paid Subscribers

Clear Channel Radio’s Total Traffic Network today announced that half a million people are now signed up for the company’s real-time traffic service, which they can receive in their cars or from mobile devices.

Four out of the top five navigation suppliers use Clear Channel Radio’s Total Traffic Network for their real-time traffic data, and partnerships include BMW, MINI USA, Volvo, Garmin, TomTom, NAVIGON, Mio Technology, Delphi, Kenwood, Clarion, Harmon Kardon, Panasonic, Siemens, and Cobra Electronics, according to the company.

CCTTN, which also supplies traffic content to media outlets such as Citadel Broadcasting, Univision, and Fox Interactive Media, serves more than 125 metropolitan markets in four countries, providing updated information on traffic reports every minute. That information is broadcast on almost three hundred on-air stations, with fifty messages a minute being delivered everyday of the year.
