USA has ordered 16 new episodes of the popular new federal witness protection drama In Plain Sight.
The show has averaged 5.22 million viewers in its Sunday, 10 p.m. time slot, since its debut June 1, according to Mediaweek. The second season will air beginning in October.
USA has also added three new projects to its development slate, including a hospital drama called Operating Instructions from Conan O’Brien’s Conaco, a romantic dramedy called Covert Affairs, produced by Doug Liman’s Dutch Oven, about a CIA operative who gets partnered with an old flame, and a show about a single father who moonlights as a morgue attendant.
