Only about 55 percent of search marketers integrate their search efforts with offline marketing efforts; the other 45 percent make no effort at integrating SEM with offline initiatives, according to a new study by iProspect and JupiterResearch.
Those that do integrate their SEM efforts with offline tend to integrate it with direct mail (34 percent), magazine/newspaper advertising (29 percent), TV (12 percent) and radio (12 percent), writes the Houston Business Journal.
The lack comes because of a limited budget and not enough human resources, among other things, the study found.
