Online radio ad sales network TargetSpot has added 10 new online networks to its growing list of partners, including the 29 radio stations owned by Bonneville.

Bonneville’s stations are in 8 markets. KSWD in Los Angeles and the company’s flagship stations in St. Louis are the first to join the network, according to MediaPost. Other radio groups joining TargetSpot include Saga Communications, Mapleton Communications, Reach Media, 977 Music, Wilks Broadcasting Group, Rose City Radio, Radio Hanover, Finetune and AMS Interactive.

TargetSpot now represents over 1,000 stations, including the online platforms of CBS Radio, Entercom, Yahoo and AOL.

The company, 40% larger than its nearest competitor,  is the country’s largest radio ad network, TargetSpot says (via Radio Online).

The announcement comes just weeks after Arbitron’s Infinite Dial study indicated that the number of Americans over the age of 12 who currently listen to online radio during an average week has leaped more than 25% in 2009 over 2008.

Today, 42 million listen to online radio, up 27% from 33 million in 2008 and more than double the 20 million who listened online in 2005, according to Arbitron’s latest overview of the online radio space.

SNL Kagan predicts radio ad revenues will drop 15% in 2009, while BIA Advisory Services is calling for a more modest, but still steep, 11% drop and Wachovia analyst Marci Ryvicker is predicting a 13% decline in radio revenues for the year.
