Kia Offers HD Radio in Select Models Come 2010

Kia Motors today announced it will begin offering factory-installed HD Radio receivers in select models starting in 2010. Kia joins a growing list of automakers offering HD, including Mercedes, Audi, Hyundai, Volvo, Ford, Scion, MINI, Jaguar, and BMW.

Beginning in 2010, HD Radio technology will be offered in Kia sedans and SUVs, according to Kia.

There are currently 1,800 HD Radio stations, reaching 84% of Americans and offering more than 900 new multicast channels (HD2/HD3) that are exclusive to HD Radio listeners.
