Dell Snags Wall Street Journal Cover Wrap

Published on December 04, 2008 | Email this article

Today’s Wall Street Journal is running a cover wrap for Dell. The ad covers a third of the front page and all of the back.

Though the New York Post and the Daily News commonly use cover wraps, the move is a first for The Wall Street Journal, writes AdAge.

The cover wrap ad is just one of many recent changes The Wall Street Journal has implemented in the last several years, chief revenue officer Michael Rooney points out, mentioning the Weekend Edition and the Personal Journal.

Dell is cancelling some of its long-term magazine buys, but remains a heavy user of print advertising.
