Trade Rag Revenue Remains Flat in 1H08

Total average paid and qualified non-paid circulation for trade magazines rose 0.85 percent in the first half over the same period last year, according to new figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

There were a few notable stand-outs: the Los Angeles Business Journal rose 61.01 percent in total average paid and qualified non-paid circ, the San Fernando Valley Business Journal rose 49.54 percent, and ID magazine rose 24.1 percent, Folio points out.

The ABC’s figures on consumer magazines, released earlier this month, showed that overall newsstand circ was down 6.2 percent for the period.
