Real estate advertisers who place their ads in certain local papers will have the opportunity to post their listings on real estate website Zillow.com, thanks to a partnership between Zillow and 11 newspaper companies.

The newspapers will be able to use Zillow’s platform to enhance their online sites, writes Editor & Publisher.

The eleven companies - including Hearst Newspapers, Lee Enterprises, Media General, MediaNews Group, Morris Communications, Paddock Publications, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, E.W. Scripps, Times-Shamrock Communications, Journal Register Co. and the Day Publishing Co. - represent 280 newspapers.

The partnership, which is an extension of the Yahoo alliance, will see features being rolled out in the first half of 2008.
