CBS Content Soon Found on 400 Sites

CBS has made a commitment to spread its content so that it reaches viewers where they are, rather than forcing viewers to come to CBS.com.

With that in mind, the network says that CBS’s content will be available through 400 sites by the fall, writes Multichannel Merchant. The network already has partnerships to offer clips and other CBS content with sites such as TV.com, Comcast’s The Fan, Slingbox and Brightcove.

CBS is hoping to eventually be able to document a lift in TV ratings as a result of its promotional efforts online.
