McClatchy Signs on for ABC’s Insert Verification

McClatchy has signed on for the Audit Bureau of Circulations’ Insert Verification Service, the voluntary service that gives a review and audit of a newspaper’s advertising insert distribution process.

ABC also offers an Insert Verification Analysis Tool that provides a quick way for media buyers to review and compare top-line results from the audits, writes Broadcasting & Cable.

“An IVS audit is another critical tool that publishers can use to demonstrate the inherent value of newspapers to insert advertisers,” says Lisa Haynes, regional media manager/advertising for Kohls Department Stores and chair of ABC’s Newspaper Buyers’ Advisory Committee.
