Silverman Brings Reveille Exec to NBC, Hopes for ‘Infectious’ Passion

Ben Silverman, the new co-chair of NBC Entertainment, has hired a top executive from his production firm, Reveille, to act as his lieutenant in charge of developing scripted programming for the TV network, writes the Los Angeles Times.

At Reveille, Teri Weinberg produced, developed and cast shows. Silverman says that he hopes his own and Weinberg’s passions become infectious at NBC, where, he believes, people need to be reminded that they are in show business, which is a lot more fun than, say, the wire-hanger business.
