Wall Street Editor of ‘Newsweek’ Leaves to Seek ‘Fortune’

Newsweek’s Wall Street editor, Allan Sloan, is leaving the magazine to join Fortune as editor at large.

Sloan, a six-time winner of the Gerald Loeb Award, worked at Newsweek for twelve years, writes Poynter. He currently contributes to NPR’s Marketplace and as a frequent commentator on PBS’s Nightly Business Report. He will start with Fortune on July 1.
