Price Chopper Supermarkets is changing the way it gets coupons into the hands of consumers.

The chain, with 115 stores in the Northeast, used to mail coupons to loyalty card members, but now, thanks to a coupon dispensers located at the fronts of stores, card holders can scan their cards and receive coupons based on their purchase history, writes DM News. Nearly 200,000 coupons, for between 30 and 40 brands, have been redeemed in the first two months of the program.

In addition to coupons based on 64 weeks of shopping history, the coupons also include savings on events around the community.

Coupons have been redeemed at a rate 50 percent higher than those included in periodicals or at checkout. The iSaveToday coupons can be redeemed once per shopping trip, up to twice per week.
