MoMac and its ASP mobile publishing platform, Gomedia, will host a range of consumer lifestyle magazines on the “t-zones” mobile portal from T-Mobile.

The portal provides T-Mobile t-zone subscribers with continuously updated, fresh content, managed and uploaded by magazines such as Vogue, FHM, Glamour, GQ, Heat, NME and Nuts, according to an announcement.
Content will include a mix of editorial, competitions, user generated content, wallpapers, ringtones and videos.

“More and more of our subscribers want to use their mobiles to read their favorite magazines,” says Lenka Horakova, content manager at T-Mobile. T-Mobile will add additional magazines to the service over the coming months.

The agreement illustrates the desire of mobile operators to offer premium branded content to subscribers as part of their on-portal strategy.
