Fox Biz Channel Gets Time Warner Deal

Published on January 04, 2007 | Email this article

The planned business news channel from Fox will be carried on Time Warner’s cable service, if and when the channel sees the light of day.

The deal is part of a larger renewal agreement for Fox News, the Speed Channel, and carriage of Fox owned-and-operated TV stations on Time Warner‘s service, writes Reuters.

The proposed channel would be a competitor to NBC Universal’s CNBC, and has already secured an agreement to be carried to digital cable subscribers of Comcast Corp.
