‘30 Rock’ Gets Season Green Light

Published on December 01, 2006 | Email this article

NBC’s last show with an unclear future, 30 Rock, has received a full-season order.

The Alec Baldwin comedy was recently switched to Thursday nights as part of a two-hour comedy block, and pulled a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo, a 25 percent jump from its previous season average, writes Broadcasting & Cable.

30 Rock is the third in a trio of shows that NBC has decided to stick with, though they are performing below expectations. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Friday Night Lights have both received full-season orders. Studio 60 is remaining in its Monday at 10 p.m. time slot, while Friday Night Lights was shifted to Wednesdays at 8.
