‘House’ Drags Fox to Tuesday Win

Published on November 29, 2006 | Email this article

Fox’s medical drama House, with its scruffily irascible hero played by Hugh Laurie, continues its strong showing, leaving its competition in the dust last night, according to Nielsen overnights.

The show scored a 6.8 rating/17 share in the 18-49 demo during Tuesday’s 9-10 p.m. time slot, writes Broadcasting & Cable. CBS’s The Unit, House’s closest competitor, was way behind, scoring a 3.1/8.

While Fox didn’t fare as well during the 8-9 p.m. hour, it still managed to win the night based on the strength of House. NBC came in second, followed by ABC, then CBS.
