CC Names Markets it Plans to Exit

Published on November 17, 2006 | Email this article

In an internal email, Clear Channel Radio CEO John Hogan has listed which markets the company plans to exit as part of its announced plan to sell 448 of its radio stations, Radio Ink reports.

“The decision to sell the stations in your market was not made quickly or easily, nor is it a reflection on the efforts and performance of you and your team,” Hogan said.

The sale of these assets is not contingent on the closing of the company’s merger agreement.
