Cable Provider Pays $75,000 for No-Call Violations

Charter Communications, a cable TV provider in St. Louis, called Missourians on the state no-call list, according to the Missouri attorney general’s office. The company agreed to pay $75,000 to settle charges, and also agreed to avoid future violations of the list or risk fines of $1,000 per illegal call, DM News reports. The state’s attorney general’s office has collected $1,360,500 for violations of the law.
