In partnership with Clear Channel

Clear Channel Radio’s Online Music & Radio unit announced today that it will be adding on-demand, online programming on Clear Channel Radio websites. The new content, dubbed NEW!, will feature the music of new and developing artists from a range of genres. Each quarter, 16 featured artists will have an artist-produced “home video,” five streaming tracks, and a link to the artist’s website. Featured artists will be selected based on discussions with record labels, and will focus on new talent. Labels already bringing talent to the program include Atlantic, Capitol, Columbia, Def Jam, Lava, Manhattan, RMG, Rounder, Sony/BMG, Virgin, Warner Bros., and Wind-Up.

A partnership with GarageBand.com also offers listeners a peek at unsigned artists. Fifty artists from GarageBand.com will also have five streaming tracks, along with a photo, a bio, and a link to the GarageBand.com site.
