NBC Olympics Wins Monday’s Key Demos

In a competitive ratings battle, NBC’s Winter Olympic coverage beat out Fox for the top spot during Monday night in the 18-49 demo, writes Mediaweek. Fox’s popular dramas House and 24 failed to garner enough viewers to win the night. NBC released a statement Tuesday saying the first 10 days of the Olympic coverage fell only 2 percent behind the 2002 Salt Lake City Games.

 

The network also said that 164 million viewers have tuned in to the Olympics through February 12th, and a record number of page viewers have visited NBCOlympics.com, with 5 million video streams accessed.
