The FCC has launched formal investigations into alleged pay-for-play practices by Clear Channel, CBS Radio, Entercom and Citadel, Radio Ink reports.

The FCC has requested documents from all four companies over allegations that radio programmers had received money, clothing and other gifts in exchange for playing certain songs.
