Conde Nast Names Business Mag ‘Portfolio’

Conde Nast announced yesterday that its new business title would be called Conde Nast Portfolio, writes MediaWeek. The magazine will debut its May 2007 issue and accompanying website, cnportfolio.com, on April 24, 2007.

According to Conde Nast, the mag will initially target top executives harvested from its corporate database and American City Business Journals, a unit of Advance Publications.

Although few people have seen a prototype, one media buyer expected the mag to be “done in the Conde Nast way,” meaning Portfolio would likely include topics beyond business-related content.
