‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Continues to Heat up on Fox

Fox’s reality show Hell’s Kitchen averaged a season high Monday night and is up 7 percent from last season among total viewers.

The show averaged a 3.8 among adults 18-49, about 0.1 percent ahead of the week before and 6 percent above its season average of 3.6, according to Media Life. Last year, the show averaged a 3.4 rating.

The show, in which contestants compete against each other to impress a volatile chef, Gordon Ramsay, is one of the few hits of the summer, along with Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent. Those, along with NBC’s Last Comic Standing, are the only new shows averaging above a 3.0.

Hell’s Kitchen is unique among them in that it’s the only one still growing, according to the article.

In next week’s two-hour finale, the two remaining contestants will compete to become the new head chef at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas.
