Revenue-Sharing Deal for Royalties May Save Internet Radio

SoundExchange, a nonprofit that collects royalty fees for copyright owners from digital radio services, has reached an agreement with several pure-play webcasters that is an alternative to the unpopular rates established by the Copyright Royalty Board in 2007.
